Mission Statement

The mission of the IRMC Family Medicine residency program is to provide excellent, comprehensive, family medicine training, in order that our graduates might fill healthcare disparities in rural Pennsylvania communities.

Vision Statement

Our training will integrate the assets and needs of our region to train compassionate and conscientious physicians who use evidence-based practices to provide quality service to surrounding communities during residency and beyond. Residents will learn to foster wellness of mind, body, and spirit throughout the full spectrum of a patient’s lifetime. Additionally, our training program will foster wellness for physicians by offering a holistic living and learning model in a supportive, family-friendly environment.
