Rural Track Program

Tamarack Health offers accredited Graduate Medical Education (GME) to medical students looking for rural track training. We provide high-quality educational experiences to prepare graduates to confidently provide competent, up-to-date, best-practice medical care in underserved and under-resourced communities.

Experience rural medicine… redefined.

At Tamarack Health, rural training means hands-on learning in a supportive learning environment. Our commitment to education ensures personalized mentorship and a strong “culture of student,” where you gain the skills and confidence to excel in real-world medicine in a truly rural area.

Why Choose Tamarack Health?

  • Unopposed training. No competition for procedures or learning opportunities.

  • One-on-one mentorship. Direct training with experienced preceptors.

  • Fellow support. Fellows focus on high-acuity cases, not low-acuity shifts.

  • Individualized learning. Small student numbers mean more hands-on experience.

  • Commitment to education. A culture that prioritizes learning and professional growth.
