Join – Become a Participating Program

RMTC is a cooperative, and our participating programs represent rurally located and focused programs throughout the United States. Here’s information if you or your program are interested in being more engaged with RMTC.

Your fees support organizational infrastructure and a host of benefits, including:

Visibility and Recruitment – RMTC promotes your program on our website and in other materials.
Research – Participating programs can access the research and scholarly activities of RMTC.
Information – Receive important information from RMTC to stay informed about the organization and rural health.
Reduced conference registration – Attend our annual conference at a reduced rate.
Faculty Development – Access a host of resources including webinars, peer consultation, and a community of experts.
Technical Assistance – Technical assistance is offered via email or phone at no charge, and we offer extended support at a discounted rate.
NIPDD Program Fellowship Scholarships – Each year the board supports two full-tuition scholarships to the National Institute for Program Director Development (NIPDD) and strong preference is given to participating program faculty.

RMTC is a charitable 501(c)(3), and contributions are tax deductible.

We Offer Two Options:

Donate to the General Fund, which supports the work of RMTC and its mission through program expansion, increased member benefits, and additional/lower costs services.

Donate to our Faculty Development Fund, which supports physician education and focuses on helping prepare family medicine faculty who live, clinically work or teach in a rural place, helping them become better educators and program directors of residency programs in rural communities.
